Don’t forget to stop for a photo at the Colossi of Memnon, which once marked the remains of the temple of the great pharaoh Amenhotep III (the grandfather of Tutankhamun).

1st stop – Valley of the Kings:
At the famed Valley of the Kings, admire the magnificence and grandeur of the architecture used for the burial of the many kings. The most well-known tomb is of King Tutankhamun. The Valley of the Kings is one of the most popular tourist sites in the world, with people flocking here in huge numbers.
2nd stop – Temple of Hatshepsut:
The Temple of Hatshepsut, a famous female ruler of Egypt who posed as a male to gain the throne, is magnificent. Look out for unique scenes on the temple walls depicting her expedition to Somalia.
3rd stop – Valley of the Queens:
Despite the name, the Valley of the Queens houses the tombs of ancient pharaohs’ wives, their children and some high officials. Four of the around 70 graves are currently open: the tombs of Titi, Nefertari, Titi, Amenherkhepshef, and Khaemwaset. Please note there is an extra charge to visit Nefertari’s tomb.
4th stop – Memnon Colossi: Here, wonder at the two giant statues of the New Kingdom pharaoh Amenhotep III, and the Colossi of Memnon, towering 59 feet (18 meters), making the perfect introduction to the grandeurs of Luxor’s West Bank. Each statue weighs around 1,100 tons, once guarding the entrance to a funerary temple which archaeologists continue to excavate today.
Finally, at the end of your exciting visit, your tour-guide will escort you back to your hotel or cruise ship.
